Last year’s accounts or tax return, if you already sell more than £75,000 a year.
Your lower rate unlocks
Once we’ve checked it. After that, your sales through WhatTheTruck! keep it up to date.
Rates are based on your annual sales in each payment channel. Your rate applies to all sales in that channel.
Proof of turnover is required for a lower tier. Without it, your account starts on the first tier and moves to the lower rate once we’ve checked your proof. If you’re new to food trucks, you start on the first tier.
Founder 100 is open to the first 100 trucks to join. For your first month after you sign up, we charge no fees on payments you take through WhatTheTruck!, in person or online, and card processing is on us. Card readers and other hardware are bought separately.

Questions about pricing
How much does food truck software cost?
WhatTheTruck! costs nothing a month. You pay a fee on each payment you take: from 0.80% on card payments at the hatch and from 3.25% plus VAT on online orders, lower as your yearly sales grow. The app, your ordering page, the kiosk software and Rocky, the AI assistant, are included, with free AI credits every month.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. There is no monthly charge. WhatTheTruck! earns when you earn, through a payment processing fee on your sales.
What are your card fees?
From 0.80% on in-person card payments and from 3.25% plus VAT on online orders, depending on your yearly sales in each. New accounts start at 1.25% in person and 3.95% online.
How do I get a lower rate?
Send us proof of your yearly turnover, such as last year’s accounts or tax return. Until we’ve checked it you pay the first-tier rate. If you’re new to food trucks, you start on the first tier and move down as your sales through WhatTheTruck! grow.
What do Founder 100 trucks get?
Your first month after you sign up, the card fees are on us, at the hatch and online. 100% of every sale paid with a UK personal card is yours, with nothing deducted. Plus priority support and a direct line to the team building WhatTheTruck!.
